Welcome to the Children's Ministry Page!
Calvary Chapel of the Tri-Cities Children's Ministry wants to welcome you. On this page you will find out some basic information about this important ministry. If you can not find your answer here please do not hesitate to call the Church Office.

Dear Parents:
We would like to welcome you and your family to Calvary Chapel! It is an honor to assist you in the teaching of your children about our wonderful Savior Jesus. We are committed to teaching your child the Word of God and to let them know that Jesus loves them.

Our Mission Statement
Calvary Chapel of Tri-Cities Children's Ministry is committed to give every child that comes through our doors the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire for every child to know that he or she is loved by God, and loved by us, as we serve them through the teaching of the Bible.

Matthew 19:14 Jesus said "Let the little children come to me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

The Bible states that the responsibility of Christian education belongs to the family(Duet. 6:5-9, Prov. 22:6, Eph. 6:4), but as a church we need to be a strong encouragement and support to the families that entrust their children to our care.

The Calvary Chapel Children's Ministry is committed to the following goals:
To provide Jesus Christ's example of Love and acceptance to the kids we minister to.
To create a fun and interesting atmosphere for the children to enjoy.
To teach age appropriate curriculum that interests and challenges each age group.
To evangelize children to give them the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
To encourage children to share their Savior with their family, friends, and others.
To train and equip our volunteers to be able to carry out the goals of this ministry.

Our Program
There is a class for every child up to 5th grade. There is a Nursery available up to the age of 2 year old. 3 year old through 5th grade have separate age appropriate classes during all services on Sunday Mornings. We have a Worship time, Skits/Puppets, and Story Time. Sunday Evenings and Wednesday Evenings have a different set up for classrooms but still maintain the age appropriate levels. We do have you register your kids before service and you will be given an id tag that is used to pick up your child at the end of service.
Sunday Morning Service
Children's Ministry is offered at all Church Services. We have teachers dedicated to teaching 9 months of the year. During the Summer months we have teachers who help to provide a VBS like format during that time. There is Worship, Video presentation that helps reinforce the lesson for the day, and Classroom Story Time. All our teachers go through a screening process and we have at least 2 teachers per classroom plus helpers.
Sunday Evening Service
Sunday Evening is a more relaxed, fun time that reinforces what has been taught during Sunday Morning Service and/or Wednesday Evening Service.
Wednesday Night Service
We have a special program during the August - June months called the FBI. Fantastic Bible Investigators. Training starts every Wednesday Evening from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We ask that children come to as close to on-time as they can, so that they don't miss any of their briefing. The program is offered to Nursery to 5th grade. Each class is age appropriate for the best learning environment we can offer. Enrollment can be done at anytime during the year. Our instructors are highly qualified to help you in the area of training up your children in the way they should go. Any questions please contact Kim Andersen at the Church.
